BLAST!, evolved from Skateboarding & Surfing 1970`s & 80`s.
& constructed a heavy timeless musical onslaught that stood on its own and has been proven with time. They released three LP`S on SST Records. 1985-1989.

Following announcements over recent months proclaiming the release of Blood! — Released by Southern Lord Records & mixed by Dave Grohl has shown the true heavy sounds & intensity of BLAST! to appreciate it as it should be an amazing release.

The newly-released but vintage recordings from iconic ‘80s Santa Cruz surf/skate/hardcore act, BL’AST! – the band now confirms their current lineup which will take over stages and studios in the coming year and onward for the first time in over a decade and a half!

Original BL’AST! alumni, vocalist Clifford Dinsmore (also of Dusted Angel, Gargantula) and guitarist Mike Neider also of (L.A.B. , GUSTO!) have recruited Nick Oliveri (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Mondo Generator) on bass and drummer Hoss Wright (The Exies, Mondo Generator) to flesh out the brand new
2013 lineup. Having bashed out solid sets Live, BL’AST! is ready to rage once again!

This new lineup is vital in the continuation of BL’AST! and the addition of new blood makes it even more bombastic and heavy.” BL`AST! w/ new tunes for 2014 have plans to record.

BL`AST! has indeed started the machine for an onward and upward heavy musical onslaught for BL`AST! to continue their rage again & again.
Swingin Utters
Swingin Utters
One of the more traditional-sounding of California's punk revival bands, Swingin' Utters formed in the late '80s around a first-name-only lineup of vocalist Johnny, guitarists Max and Darius, bassist Kevin and drummer Greg. Originally based in Santa Cruz, the group later moved to San Francisco and recorded for several different labels, including Side One, IFA Records and New Red Archives. Signed to Fat Wreck Chords (run by NOFX's Fat Mike), Swingin' Utters released Juvenile Product of Working Class in 1996 and Five Lessons Learned two years later. The Brazen Head EP followed in 1999 and the band's self-titled third-studio effort was released in fall 2000. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
